Christmas 2010

Scott and I stayed up at his dad's place at the St. Regis in Deer Valley on the 23rd and then he went skiing with his dad on the 24th at Deer Valley. I also went skiing with my family on the 24th to Park City.
We stopped and ate lunch at Davanzas. It's just off of the town lift. It's super good food. I got a Philly sandwich. Yum.

Here's little Stocky sitting on Santa's lap on Christmas Eve. (ha, ha)
I gave Scott an electric Shaver for Christmas and he gave me a speedometer to go on my bike. We both got way too spoiled by our parents. We got lots of things including park city passes, jazz tickets, and a video camera. I can't wait until we have children because then hopefully everyone will spoil our kids more than us.

Temple Square/ Spaghetti Factory with the Ford Family

Every year on the Sunday before Christmas, we go with Brittney's mom's extended family to the Spaghetti Factory and to see the lights at temple square. Grandma GaNene gives all of the grandkids ornaments every year to go on their christmas trees and Grandpa Keith pays for all of us to eat at the Spaghetti Factory. After walking around temple square to see the lights, we go and get hot chocolate at Dee's to warm up. It' a fun tradition that we look forward to every year.
This is all of the grandkids and grandma and grandpa.

Ford Family Progressive Dinner

We do a progressive dinner with Brittney's mom's side of the family every year for Christmas. Up above is actually a picture we took for my mom's Christmas card right before the dinner.

This is a picture of my grandma, aunt Shana, cousin Sadie, and me and my mom.
We started out this year at my Aunt Shana's house for the salad. The salad was really yummy. It had blackberries and pomegranates on it. She also made a home made cheese ball that was good, too. This is a picture of their family up above.
The next place we stopped was my uncle Brent's. He had the main course. We ate a sweet roast turkey and the chili cranberry sauce on it was to die for. My aunt Chris usually reads a Christmas story to us while we're there. Up above is a picture of some of their family. Some of my cousins couldn't make it.

Last of all we went to my parents for Cheesecake from Cheesecake factory. (One of my very favorite things to eat.) My dad always has us do a nativity story. I was the evil King Herod this time. Scott was a Shepard and the inn keeper.
My uncle Scott and his wife were out of town this year. But in the past we usually have an appetizer that we stop at.
I just love being with all of my cousins and extended family. It's great that we are able to celebrate the birth of our savior together. I love Christmas time because it helps us to remember that Jesus walked on this earth and made it possible for us to become like him.
