Christmas 2012

Every year right before Christmas, Brittney's grandpa (Brenda's dad) takes the whole family to the Spaghetti factory.  Brittney's grandma passed away a year and a half ago.  She used to buy us ornaments and give it to all of the grand kids at dinner.  Brittney's grandpa is so sweet that he continues the tradition that she set.  After the spaghetti factory we head to temple square to see the lights.

Brittney's grandma (Sterling's mother) has us over for Christmas eve.  Santa pays a visit to the grand kids.

Thanksgiving and Coral Spring Resort in St. George

We had Thanksgiving at Scott's mom's new house.  It was really good food and it was fun being with the family.

Then we headed down to St. George for the rest of the weekend with Brittney's family.  We hiked Angel's landing in Zions Canyon together.

We stayed at a place called Coral Springs resort.  It was super nice.  We swam at the pool and played tennis together too.

October Fun

This is our annual pumpkin run that we do with Brittney's mom's family.  We drive up to Maddox for dinner and on the way pick out our pumpkin to carve.

This year, Brittney's work had a Halloween party.  We couldn't find any modest girl costumes so Brittney dressed up as Voldemort and Scott was Harry Potter.

We played fear factor.  The picture above is of Scott eating some spam and the one below is of Brittney almost throwing up some gross ham and gravy baby food.

We carved some pumpkins with Brittney's family this year.  Scott carved a Frankenstein and Brittney carved  a ghost.  We usually cheat and use a pattern.

Island Park

Every year we go to Island Park and Yellow stone with Scott's family.  The picture above is of us and our nephew McKay in front of one of the natural hot springs there.

McKay's birthday is in October so we decided to let him pick out a souvenir from Yellowstone.  He picked out a little park ranger vest with all kinds of pockets.

There were lots of bison that would walk right up to our cars.

Scott's sister and brother-n-law have a Polaris ranger.  We had lots of fun sight seeing on it.  In this picture is Scott's sister, her family, some neighbor friends, and Scott's mom.

Labor Day Tri/boating

Brittney finished her first triathlon ever on Labor Day this year.  She did very well but got a flat half way through the biking part.  Some nice ladies (good Samaritans) stopped and gave her a new tube and helped her fix it.  Thank you to the two women who took the time and money to help her out.  It took about twenty minutes to fix it.  So her final time was 1 hr and 37 minutes, but if she hadn't gotten a flat it probably would of been closer to 1 hr and 17 minutes.

Brittney's family went boating at Willard after the triathlon.  Scott had to work so he wasn't able to make it boating.
