| We started the invitro process as soon as we were able to. In November the finishing procedures were done. (egg extraction and embryo transfer) I talked to a lot of people who had done it before and I'll be honest I was scared because of there explanations. It ended up not being that bad. I felt like a little bit of pain was nothing if I was able to conceive a baby. They extracted 22 eggs from me. 14 of them were mature eggs. Out of the 14, 7 fertilized. The day of our embryo transfer, we found out that only 2 survived out of the 7 and that they were only rated fair quality. So instead of a %60 chance we only had a %40 chance of it working. The picture above is of the two surviving embryos. |
