Scott's first triathlon/Sterling's 50th birthday

Scott did his first triathlon on August 4 which was Brittney's dad's 50th birthday.  Brittney's dad, Sterling also did the triathlon for his second time.

Coming in from running the 5k.  His time was 23 minutes.

Scott got 4th place at a time of 1 hr and 6 minutes.  I was so proud of him.  Brittney plans on attempting it next year.

The birthday boy coming in from running.  Sterling fell off a wall a couple of years ago and crushed his foot.  The doctor told him he would never be able to run again and would be in a lot of pain with just walking, but look at him now speed walking/jogging in the triathlon on his 50th birthday.

My mom threw a big party for my dad after the triathlon.  She had Vitos cater it and invited family and friends.  We then went boating after the party because my dad's favorite activity is water skiing.

Dad opening up his present from all of us.  We gave him some shoes that he wanted for swimming and for Lake Powell.  My mom gave him a guys trip to St. George to go on a Harley ride.
